Case A. Dam joined The Lanier Law Firm’s Los Angeles office in 2013. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Case earned his bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in 2000, and his law degree from University of Miami School of Law in 2004. Since graduating, he has zealously represented injured plaintiffs suffering from malignant mesothelioma, asbestos related cancer and asbestosis. Case has served as a trial and appellate attorney for clients exposed to asbestos in a variety of circumstances, including veterans of the United States Armed Services, automotive mechanics, shipyard workers, underground water and sewer pipe installers, carpenters, ironworkers, millwrights, boiler repairmen, plumbers, laborers, doctors, teachers, smokers of asbestos filtered cigarettes, as well as persons unknowingly exposed to asbestos products from laundering their family members work clothes.

Case is a fervent advocate and passionate litigator, who has successfully litigated several mesothelioma cases to verdict. He has won numerous appeals and has otherwise filed, prosecuted and overseen the resolution of thousands of mass tort claims filed in the Federal and State Courts. He is experienced in all phases of litigation, trial and the appeals process. He has traveled throughout the United States to counsel new clients, performed extensive legal and historical research of the asbestos industry, and ultimately defended hundreds of clients, experts and corporate officers in deposition and at trial.

Case is licensed to practice in California, Illinois and Florida and is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, the Illinois State Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association. He recently moved to Santa Monica, and enjoys traveling, sporting events, live music, and mixed martial arts.
